- The new ways the rich signal their wealth, Interesting look at the subtle signals that define class and group boundaries. It’s remarkable that none of the people who are peddling corporate culture look at the group membership signifiers like clothing brands, leisure pursuits, percentage of salary invested in education, vacation destinations. On one level, corporate culture is the aggregate of employee behavior on and off the clock. What’s even more remarkable is the claim that we know how to simulate a culture. - AI will require us to have new definitions of smart. The machines will beat us at pattern recognition, storage and recall of information and other traditional definitions of intelligence.
